From 2018 to 2022, we collected and analysed 60 hard substrate macrozoobenthos samples in the port of Naples, (Italy, Tyrrhenian Sea). Monitoring for the Marine Strategy Directive (2008/56/EC) with the aim of searching and finding NIS-Non-Indigenous Species. The taxonomic groups found in the most abundant macrozoobenthos samples, over the five years of monitoring are: crustaceans 35%, polychaetes 28% and molluscs 17%. The NIS species found are three crustaceans and one bivalve mollusc.
